Getting the hang of baskets

Today I decided to buy my mother some beautiful violas for mothers day, the varieties were- coconut swirl and orange duo and a verbena for the centres, I started to wonder how I was going to handle the awkward shapes, then suddenly I had one of those light bulb moments, by hanging them from the washing line it made the job a piece of cake, I only wish i'd thought of it years ago, so simple!

Anyone else hav any handy tips they would like to pass on ?
