Ironing board cover OR new ironing board?
4 Answers
My ironing board has a very worn and torn cover from placing the iron down on it over the years, instead of using the iron rest. Are replacement covers any good? I seem to remember my mum's never really fitted tightly, so you always got a ridge along the edges of the board, which would transfer on to clothes when they were ironed. But they are a helluva lot cheaper than a new board... So what should I buy?

It helps if you know what make the board is. I take a picture of things like this on my cell phone to help illustrate to the assistant what I need, or with the tape measure on the top as an aide -memoir for the sizes ( I always forget bits of paper but remember the phone) Dyas and John Lewis are good for this type of purchase.
