slugs

Hi all, my garden is a slug haven in the summer (really huge ones) how can I get rid of them, apart from slug pellets or salt! Thanks

go out at night when it rains and pick them up they like the damp what you do with them is up to you i feed them to my hens the next morning its amazing what turns into eggs !
