It stands for Darley Furniture Stores.
dodgy f**king sofas
Interesting. I remember him starting the business in the early 70s. I sold moulded cushions to him. He told me that he had worked in multiple furniture retail chain prior to deciding to make furniture.

Dodgy Furniture Store...although we've just bought a sofa from there :-)

Well, treacle,keep you fingers crossed!

The owner is a Lord and your just a lump of treacle!

For some weird reason I think the answer is Direct Furniture Shipment. I have no idea why this has come into my head - did they use it in their ads previously?

I have just realised that there is some serious crap lodged in my head - no wonder that I can never remember to buy milk on the way home!!

rescuer- I kinda like that :-) where's it from?

I'm not just a big lump of treacle though....hehe

Hi, treacle84,

The owner of DFS was made a Lord (Lord Kirkham)some years ago. I think he gave or loaned a large amount of money to the Conservative Party.

Lord Kirkham lives down the lane and once I saw one of his sheep fall over.

It might stand for Dodgy Falling Sheep?!
