Hi there

I have to buy a new breadmaker. I would like one that makes the loaf in the regular shape not tall and thin like my old one did.

Also I heard that there is anew one out that drops the paddle out before baking so you don't end up with a big hole in the bread at the end of cooking. Does anyone know what this one is?

Which one do you have and what do you like about it? Do you recommend it, or would you choose differently?

Let me have all the info while i try and replace this treasured appliance.

ps, I have to make gluten free bread in it too, so that would be useful.

The Panasonic has been around for a while but I still consider it to be the best.

cheers bob, I have been looking at the panasonic 252 as it apparently has excellent gluten free programs.

However, this looks as though it is tall and thin and not short and wide like traditional bread.

Does anyone know what shape the tin is in this panasonic model?

cheers
