Mould problem in rented flat

I moved into a rented flat 6 weeks ago. It is a brand new property and noone has lived in it before. When we moved in there wasn't a problem but the master bedroom is getting very damp. There is mould growing up the walls and the clothes in the bedroom are constantly damp.

We have contacted the landlord several times and they still haven't done anything. We have however found out that they are unable to rent the flat directly below us because of the rent problem.

Any suggestions on what we can do now and what our rights are?
