I found this advert for a repeller of pests in the Saturday Express magazine 13 My 2006. The machine transmits noises that we mere humans can not hear, but which will get rid of any unwanted visitors.

Funny enough, I was talking to someone today, who, out of desperation, bought a similar product because of a Fox problem, she said that since she's been using it, no Foxes, so some of these things do appear to work.

My cat has just woken me up by howling in my ear - so maybe if I had bought one of these things he would have been frightened away and I would be still sleeping!!

You hear of people getting all wound up by cats coming into their garden to do what cats do in other people's gardens. This product works with foxes, so should work with dogs and cats too.

That means that the cats go crap in somebody else's garden instead!
