i have two roberts dab radios and one pure dab radio the pair of roberts often go off air when theyhave been on for beyond ten minutes the pure one does not seem to have problem also one of the roberts is an alarm radio i cannot use this radio to start up on radio as sometimes the radio signal doesnt come on

does anybody have these problems with dab radio generally or is this only applicable to roberts or could be in the area (south-east) where i live

ps. all these radios are over a year old and outside the guarantee period and all have telescopic aerials

I found your Question when I was going to write the same sort of thing. My Roberts DAB Radio Gemini 25 switches itself off at exactly 9.12 pm at night when I am listening to Radio 4. I am using the AC adaptor but will try it on batteries. It is nothing to do with the Sleep function as this is OFF.Signal Strength is OK so like you I remain baffled.
Switching back on immediately works OK.
On the AC adaptor the front is illuminated. This goes off completely. I have left it running all day no problems.
It is still under warranty. I am at a loss to explain it. I dont think it is a fault with the radio somehow.

both thesde roberts radios are over two years old and still misfunction roberts didn't want to know they said it could poor signal since i have purchased another pure oasis and have never had any trouble in fact when they had discovered battery faults they even sent out couriers to all purchasers and put new battery paccks in and extended the guarantee this is what i call exceptional service
