Robinia pseudoacacia (False Acacia

This is a yong tree about 8ft. tall. It is its second year. The leaves have started going brown at the edge and curling up. Does it have a disease?

Oh my favourite tree, you'd never have guessed!

Never had a prob with mine so I'm not too sure....no idea where you are but I'd guess that it's the effect of the awfully cold, wet weather we've had (I'm in derbyshire) until recently.
Is it in a sunny spot with well drained soil? robinias hate to be waterlogged.

Give it a bit of time & hopefully the warmer days will give it a boost.

Most trees need a lot of water to get them established, especially in the first 2-3 years of planting, if that dont seem to be the answer, they dont do so well on exposed or windswept sites. All the Best. T bird.

Robinia Thank you for your answer. I am in Nottinghamshire. It is in well drained soil, half sunny half shady. Last year looked good.

Will wait and see if the weather helps.

Oh you're not far away Jamjar - if you stand on your tiptoes & look towards Derby you might see my tree! :o) Hope yours does well, they're beautiful.
