Alton Towers offers

Does anyone know anywhere I can get offers or vouchers for Alton Towers? My kids want to go but I begrudge having to pay so much, especially as I won't be going on the rides. Thanks

You might get leaflets with money-off coupons at your local library or a tourst office.

They may even have a web site with information about offers.

• You can buy tickets in advance via the alton towers website...then when you get to the park you just put your credit or debit card into a machine and your tickets are printed.


• OR if you have a Nectar card you can use this to get free tickets at alton towers if you have around 2,500 points.


• Hum racking brains to think of options....!

You may never find a tourst office so instead look for a tourist office!

have you any tesco points? these can be exchanged for discounted tickets

Whatever you do, don't by them from the touts that put signs up within a mile or two of the site. (normally at roundabouts and pub car parks). When I went last year some people were prevented from entering because they were fake tickets...

You could wait for one (or more) of the national newspapers to do a free ticket offer (bogoff). The Sun almost always does it (it's the only time I buy The Sun!).

I must say I agree with your thoughts. It is a shame you cannot simply buy a visit only ticket (so you can visit the gardens which is something I never have time to do)

Thanks everyone for your replies. I didn't know about the Tesco or Nectar card options. I'll keep my eyes open for newspaper offers too, but I might have to stick a bag on my head to go and buy The Sun!

I realise it may be too late (almost a month since you posted) but Dr Pepper have some kind of offer on at the minute on their bottles. x
