No best answer has yet been selected by nogsy. Once a best answer has been selected, it will be shown here.
For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.nogsy, There are 3 possible causes. 1. It is possible that you have inadvertantly changed the auto-timer ( if you have one ) from "manual" to "auto". 2. The flame failure device has failed, this causes the burner to come on in the very low by-pass mode, but will not allow full gas to the burner. 3. The thermostat has failed.
If you find that possible cause no. 1. is not the answer, you will need the services of a Corgi registered engineer who is conversant with cookers.
Hope this helps.
