compost bins

While the weather is so dry, should i be adding extra water to my compost bin, or should the 'greens' be keeping the compost moist enough?

I was recently talking to a proffesional gardener who said that the key to making good compost quickly was to turn it regularly and keep it wet. I think he said he turned his every other day or so.

As it's contained in a bin this will hold in a lot of the moisture so nature can still do it's thing. I turn mine once a week with a compost aerator.
