do you have to pinch out the trailing surfinas .I have some in a basket and they are quite thin even though I remove the dead flowers regulary I notice other hanging baskets around the area seem to be much fuller than mine .What am I doing wrong ?

Yes pinch them out and they should bush up. Water them every day even if it has rained and feed them weekly.Don"t just pinch the spent flower out pinch the seed pod bit out as well.

should have pinched out the growing tips when the plant was young, before it flowered for a bushy plant.
