tap water in a large garden fish pond
2 Answers
Helo, we have been topping up our pond with tap water, I have been told we should be adding a product to counteract the chemicals. So far though we have not had any problems but has anyone done the same over a long period of time and if so any problems? Many thanks in advance

Any chemicals in the water will be greatly diltued in the pond and will do no harm. Its only when you first fill a pond from scratch with tap water that you need to treat it, or just leave it for a few weeks for the chemicals to evaporate before putting in your fish.
