Thats amazing...thats why this site is so great....months not knowing and you have cracked it. Thanks so much...the pictures I have seen seem to match it perfectly.

Your a star, thanks...whilst your there though, any tips on what the best plant/shrub web sites might be so I can look this up. I will Google it anyway, but you may know of some really good site that will take me ages to find.

Don't know of a specific site, I mostly use books ...but Google is usually pretty helpful

As said, Rhus Typhina or stagshorn sumach.

A small tree which can spread like mad from under ground suckers.

Grown for its weird flowers and amaizing autumn colour.....a lovely tree for the small garden.
