Lot depends on the plants themselves. Some can get by on little watering, others need more. Hanging baskets are notorious for drying out quickly. Are you able to soak the baskets - immerse in water - so as to let out any air pockets that can occur when drying out takes place?
Deadhead any flowers that have gone completely - it gives the plant less to concentrate on for its survival.
Might take a while for them to recover, due to dehydration, but you should soon see a difference if it is not too late.
Copious amounts of water if you are unable to immerse them.
Good luck greenfingers!!

As the others have said, provided the plants haven't died, they should pick up again, just remove the dead or dying leaves and flowers. You could make some holes in the compost and add some water retaining crystals and give them a really good drink - that should help as well. Here's a bit more info on the crystals/gel:-
