no cold water no reason!!

Hi, about 2 hours ago I was using the cold water tap downstairs, it worked fine!
Just tried to fill kettle, and it does not work, my washing mashine and outdoor tap also don't work, not even a drip.
Upstairs is fine, what should I do?

Sounds like the water company has cut it off without telling you. The water upstairs will most likely be stored in a tank in the loft, but it will run out eventually if the water is not brought back on in time.

Thank you just telephoned company and they say that there is a problem with one of the water tanks, so thank you, did not even think of that.
