I have recently moved house and want to change the security code on my alarm system, but the previous owner didn't leave an instruction booklet. The alarm is a Brittania 9100 Microprocessor - has anyone got one? I tried contacting the company, but they have apparently been bought out about 10 times since the system was installed.
you will have to contact the owners for the original code.
the whole point of the code is that no-one can access the system without it
alarms wouldn't be much use if they could be altered by anyone with a user manual, would they!
there is of course the issue of trust here, no offence but you could be anyone and it would be a bit irresponsible of anyone here to give you the 'cheat codes'
I would imagine you are still using the same code as the previous people used, and you therefore only want to know how you change to your own code.
I do not know this alarm but try this:-
Put in your existing code then put in your new code and press enter - you should get a beep or two to confirm.
press 6 then enter/ then put in code/ then your new code/
then enter. You may have to try various numbers instead of the 6 but that is what works on mine
ah, sorry, seems i misread the question - i thought you were asking how to hack into the system to change the code as the previous owners hadn't left one.
i would still suggest contacting the eastate agent and asking them to pass on a request for the booklet from you - they probably just threw it n a box with loads of other bits
