I am thinking of installing an internal roller shutter to my bedroom Velux roof window, to provide better heat insulation this winter. I would like to hear from anyone who has had such a shutter fitted, and would be interested to hear of your experiences and any recommendations, etc. How much did you pay, for example.

I have just finished installing a velux window with electric remote opening, rain sensor, remote blind - bought all the components off ebay (german site), cheaper than what i could have ordered and received them here in uk. I would recommend looking on the german ebay site for any velux items.
