what can I plant around a garden arch

I built and erected a metal garden arch yesterday and I am wondering what I can use as a trailing plant to grow over it quickly. It just looks so bare. I would prefer something with flowers

I would go for a self-supporting climber for your arch, if you work out what kind of aspect you have ie whether its in full-sun, semi-shade etc,you can then choose a suitable plant that will grow well in that situation.
As naz says Clematis and honeysuckle are good flowering climbers, Clematis 'Hagley Hybrid' is a large, late flowered variety that is undemanding of site and soil with pale purple flowers which will grow to about 3m (10ft)
A good choice of honysuckle, I think would be Lonicera 'Dropmore scarlet', a variety which will flower from mid summer right into autumn. Good Luck Tbird+
