how do i change my gas cooker to bottled gas

The cooker is a standard Indesit cooker, the only difference being a change to the connector at the end of the pipe from the cooker ensuring a safe and secure connection to the bottle.
I am sure it is no more complicated than that. The fridge on the other hand is far more complicated arrangement thus it was custom purchased.

Be very careful. I'm surprised by Ongelofelijk's reply. Natural (mains) gas and bottled gas are at different pressures, and require a change to the gas/air mixing orifice size as well as the connector. A conversion can be carried out, but many manufacturers might pretend they don't have the bits - they want to sell you a new cooker instead. Not a DIY job either, and you could have a problem finding a CORGI engineer who's willing to do it for you.
