Air conditioning unit

Does anyone know if the above is a good unit? It is for a bedroom approx 4m by 4m which gets v hot in summer but I can't afford to spend much more than this on it!

You won't be able to sleep with it on - it is incredibly noisy.

But if you want to put it on for a few hours before bed it may be useful.

We put one in our sun room and it made very little difference that was 6mtr by 4mtr.

You cant beat a big overhead fan, very cheap and a heavenly breeze very little sound from it as well, just a slight purring, we got ours from B&Q about �30.00. worth its weight in gold!!

A lovely wafting fan at bedtime is the answer - and earplugs can help if you're a sensitve little soul like me or Ethel

i bought me air conditioning unit off e-bay in the winter, for �100, was second hand and originally �650, has 12000 btu's, but makes bedroon ice cold, probably best too wait
