Does sun cream lose its properties? I have some cream from a few years ago and want to know if it will still be effective ?

yes it does - it's recommende that you use it within 6 months of opening I htink.
yeah it does cos it has "active" ingrediants that die/wear off (im no scientist) and needs to be used as that ugly fella just said, my dad recons its within 3 months...

on my this years nivea it says use within 12 months of opening
mabey there all different....

but 1 - 2 years sounds excessive

maybe it's 12 months, wasn't sure. best to just buy more at the start of each summer
