Does anyone have any idea on the best products to use to clean a stainless steel cooker hood, a ceramic hob and my highly polished work tops which always seem to be smeary?

I clean my oven with a little bit of baby oil (on the recommendation of a friend) and it works a treat! totally smear free!

Would that work on all three?
Sorry meant to say it's great for stainless steel!

I also use the hob cleaner in the orange bottle from tesco for my ceramic hob and it brings it up nice and shiny!

Will give it a try many thanks!
I use 'hob bright '(the orange one that chazza mentions) for the ceramic hob, and flash orange cleaner for worksurfaces - no smears. windolene cleans stainless steel nicely too.
A cleaner told me that you should use wd40 on stainless steel and chrome in the kitchen :-)
Once you have got any serious muck off, try an Eco-cloth to finish off. No chemicals - shines like magic. You can buy an equivalent at the supermarket.
