hello, sorry if this is wrong cat. but its education ( its in school )... i was wondering how many people agree with me on this one. but first, i must tell you the full deal. Today we have just came back to school ( high school ) and during asembly, the head teacher told us that we should all have blazers. ( which cost up to 110 for the correct one ) ( mine cost 80 )... so we are all like okay yea and so on, but then he says everyone with a blazer with them today may leave. so i leave with the rest of the blazers... little did we know, the people who didnt have a blazer with them were getting a punishment exersize! just because they eather didnt bring their blazer, or they dont have one! ... now for some people, they cant get one because they cant afford it.. thats no excuse! ... its sooo unfair, they are being made to do 1 - 12 times table in form of 1x1=1 1x2=2 1x3=3 , and they need to do it 6 times! now tell me... who thinks this is extreamly unfair, and who thinks i should go to the newspapers about this? ... if so, can you please help me in finding contact information for the daily record, the sun? and if possible because i cant find it anywhere, most likely to take my story the hamilton advertiser and motherwell times... Thanks very much

Many schools have a uniform exchange system for just this kind of situation, and if parents are having real problems then the school should be understanding and discrete about it.
It's different if pupils just can't be bothered to wear blazers, but your teachers should have ascertained this before deciding to punish everyone.
If you go your local paper, you'll find they have regular contacts with the nationals, and if your story is of interest then the nationals will take it up. If you don't want to wait, visit the websites of the nationals you want to contact and you should be able to find the various editorial contacts you need.
You might also want to contact your local BBC, and it would help if you could get other people behind you on this - other pupils, parents, maybe a governor (parent governors can be useful here).
Good luck!
