Pond and Heron!!!
8 Answers
Any ideas on how to keep very daring heron away from my garden pond. I really don't want to cover the pond with netting as I have tall plants growing around and in the middle

The fake one is quite a good idea but watch quality, the paint flakes off on some and the resultant uniform grey shape fools no smart heron! also, move it around a bit - the birds get wise to a static deterrent. If all else fails, and I admit this is the case with me, net the pond. With a few discreet mossy rocks it is not too obvious. ... Oh, or try a shotgun (joke!)!
