why have a high hedge law and not a high tree law

When trees planted in the wrong place can block out just as much light and view as hedges, why is there a high hedge law but not a high tree law?

Good point. Wish you'd come round here and point this out to my neighbours !
It is a good point. However it took over 10 years to get something moved on hedges - single trees is probably the bridge too far.

I know all councils have been asked to monitor complaints for the government so start complaining!!!!
