Currently viewing property. One we saw today had laminate flooring but it was not fitted properly and moved when you wallked on it (buckling). I think they just didnt leave a gap when it was fitted. Is this problem easily fixed??

Not really... the problem could be more of moisture infiltration. If water has been spilled or if there is not sufficient ventilation in the house, inexpensive (read cheap) laminate has a tendency to buckle and eventually delaminate. If it is caused by not leaving sufficient spacing for expansion, it's likely to be less noticeable in cold months, but a true fix will require at the very least, removing and refitting almost all of the boundary planks, which means removing the skirt board along the edges. Not impossible, but surely the sign of shoddy workmanship...
