cooking smelly fish

Does anyone know how to get rid of lingering fish smells after cooking it.

A bowel ( the wider the better ) of vinegar placed in the kitchen when cooking prevents lingering smells.

Prices cooks candle lit before you start cookingdoes the trick.I had a job to find them after reading an article about how good they were but Lakeland Plastics do them and I got mine through the internet as we do not have a shop near to us.

Ohh! A bowel full of vinegar - made me shuffle in my seat :-)

Never really had a problem as long as the fish was really freash. Kippers can be a bit smelly but always found that doing the washing up fairly quickly solved the problem.
