Ideal Combi boiler

I have an Ideal m30100 (installed with previous house owner).
This has recently packed up (for no obvious reason), and the PCB was the problem (instantly identified by the manufacturer).
Can anyone tell me if this is a known fault that will keep occuring / if there are going to be many problems and I should just replace it?? Thanks
