Average cost for central heating system?

We have just moved house and need a complete central heating system. thats boiler, tank, thermostats, control timer, 9 rads, all pipework etc.
we are in gloucestershire.

Just wondering what we can expect to pay.... whats fair and whats extorsionate?
Heres hoping you'll all be able to give me some idea of the cost.

At my last house, I bought mine from a firm that advertised in the daily paper.

I paid �709 for the boiler, rads,pipework and all the fittings.

Pea Pod is right. I don't think I would sleep either if I paid �709 - sounds too good to be true.

You're probably looking at between �3,000 to �4,000.

I normally charge between 2.5 To 3K to fit a full central heating system hope this helps you out .. & be suspicious of any cheap deals you can only fit condensing boilers now due to the new building reg part L. ask any CORGI man & make sure you see their badge.
