Blood mole NOT blister
5 Answers
I have a small blood mole right in the middle of my boobs and it looks really awful. According to my doctor, its not dangerous or at risk from cancer, so he didn't offer to remove it. The problem is that it is about the size as this letter 'o' and it DOES look really silly and I always feel a bit sick looking at it, as if I want to pop it with a needle, although I'm quite sure that would NOT be a good idea.. apparently they don't stop bleeding. What are my options to get rid? Even if a good make up is only suggested, although concealer doesn't work. Thanks! X

Have you had this since birth? Either way, you should go back to your GP and tell him how it makes you feel and that you would like it removed. If he refuses, get a second opinion from a different GP. You may want to visit the following sites : http://www.lifestyleclinic.co.uk/treatments/el lipse/

You have every right to ask for it to be removed if it upsets you. Just please do not try to remove it yourself, as this can be quite dangerous. Best wishes.

In answer to your second question, the procedure depends on the size of the mole or spot. If it is very small they will burn it off (cortorize it). If larger it will be removed surgically. Both are painless, as where necessary anaesthetic is used. Don't be afraid, this is a very small procedure and you will be just fine!
