Postage Stamps

I noticed today that ASDA are collecting used postage stamps. I believe it is for charity.

How does this work, surely they are worthless - they are used after all?

well people buy them in 1 kilo loads or 10 kilo loads then sort through them and you usually get loads of unfranked ones then sell them on ebay or use them themselves my father in law has done this for years and makes a living from it
