Vokera Boiler
4 Answers
Hi, my mother has a Vokera boiler, not sure at this moment the exact model, but since it was serviced a month ago her heating somes on but after an hour goes off and NEVER comes back of it's own accord. She has a service agreement with Vokera who have been out twice but now refuse to come out again and are saying it is her radiators. She has thermostatic valves on all radiators bar the obligatory one and has no room thermostat. Does anyone have any ideas as to the possible cause of this?

The engineers may be saying that her radiaors are full of sludge and partially blocked and need a clean out which can be expensive. How old is the system? The engineers may also not know what they are doing, ring for yourself and find the exact problem, the reasons given are far too vague, suspect there's a lot more to it.
They haven't but they all heat up fine, they get hot all over, but then the boiler clicks off - which is fine if it would come back on again but it doesn't!!!! When installed the company that did the work told my mother she would never need to bleed the rads due to the stuff they put in them....? Not sure about that, but as I say, the rads all heat up very well when the system is switched on - it's just its refusal to fire up again once it clicks off - tis a mystery I have to say! Thanks Rayman :-)
