This was widely reported a year or two ago when someone complained about the quality of a sofa bought from Laura Ashley's. The reply from Laura Ashley's that they 'weren't designed for prolonged sitting on' delighted the national press.

This does not help solve my problem, BUT it did bring a smile. When you can laugh at a problem it does not seem as large. Nice one. Thanks for the comment
