I have in a rented property so no drilling into the walls etc.

But i would like a battery powered nightlight which is motion sensored as it to help us find our front door keys as much as anything because there is complete darkness when we get home in the evening and cannot even find the front door never mind get our key in the door. As there is no plug socket near the door inside or out are there battery ones - I have only seen plug in ones so far.

Also is there such thing as a battery operated motion sensered alarm/ deterant in the form of a dog barking sound. So when pople come to the door this dog bsarking sound starts etc???

Wouldn't it be cheaper and easier to get a keyring torch? I don't see how you could attatch a light without drilling - no more nails, perhaps?
