Knobs!

I live in an early Victorian house with loads of original features, but for some reason the previous owners seem to have lost all the screws which hold the door knobs on! They are a particular kind of flat tipped screw with a very tight thread - does anyone know where I might find some new ones rather than sacrficing perfectly good pairs of Victorian knobs for the screws? Thanks!
