baileys spilt on my beige carpet

I spilt baileys on my beige carpet last night , i didnt clean it up very well because I didnt think it would stain as it was the same colour as the carpet, this morning when I got up I could see the outline of the stain. Does anyone know how I can remove the stain?

baileys has a sort of cream base, so probably has left a waxy residue, like milk, try a carpet stain remover or if you go to the supermaret where they rent out carpet cleaners, they also sell there, specialist stain removers, including one for milk, blood etc, which would be suitable
