Perhaps I should rephrase the question

I can buy packets of compost maker additives that are put in with the waste to speed up the rotting procedure.
At one time I could also purchase the chemicals loose .
It is the names and amount of these that I require

You mean like Garotta?

I think it's a bit of a con; stuff will rot down quite well without additives and I don't think it makes it rot any faster.

I think having a good mix of matter is more important, not too much of one thing.
