well i think you would first need to no its estimated value, if not already, i would take some photographs (close up) and send as many details as possible too one of the big auction houses in London, thay will give you an estimated price it would fetch, thay have experts in all antiques , and the last time i did such it was free of charge. then you can put it up for offers locally if you wish,and needless to say the one nearest sell it too
