Is Ken Livingstone a hypocrit?

Ken Livingstone has contributed his twopennies worth about the Big brother/C4 row. He says that C4 should have their license suspended over the 'racist' comments.

A while back KL himself was in hot water over 'racist' comments he made to a jewish photographer for which he refused to apologise.

I personally don't think either his remarks or those in the BB house could remotely be considered racist. But KL can't have it both ways.

Do you think he is a hypocrit.

Do I think he is a hypocryte? No. along with Anthony Wedgewood Benn and Dennis Skinner he is probably one of the three politicians in Britains history who are not hypocrits

As Rojash correctly says, Ken was not racist to the Mail journalist, he just chose to insult someone who was incapable of understanding the art of similie, so no, he's not being a hypocrite.

why should be a hypocrite? He makes comments that he thinks aren't racist; he protests at comments by other people that he thinks are racist; which is what most people do, including me. He may be wrong on either count, but that doesn't make him a hypocrite, it just makes him wrong.

I wouldn't say Livingstone is a hypocrite - but he is most certainly an anti-semite.

He is also a complete d1ck-head, having welcomed with open arms swivel eyed hate filled mad mullahs in the past (who most certainly are very racist) and in the old GLC days fawning over Gerry Adams.

So, hypocrite - no. Racist, no, I don't think so.
