Do builders suppliers sell a radio that is precoated with mortar and white paint, only works at full volume, only plays Radio 1 slightly off tune and has a welding rod for an aerial.
No matter who is working in my house they all have the same model.

Have a heart Sarah, those radio's from the hire shop are as much apart of of a builders image as rigger boots, butt-cleevage, yorkshire tea and chocolate hob-nobs, not to mention the elastic measuring braces!
i've got one for fifty quid if you're inerested, it's even got a plug that's taped up with 'gaffer tape' unfortunately it's tuners bust and radio two is the channel of choice!
ALL RIGHT DARLIN' !!!!
If I do any decorating I HAVE to have music.

I cannot paint in silence

I guess they are the same
They are a must to the self respecting builder, available from all good builder/plumber yards. We wouldnt be seen out and about are daily routine without this essential tool of our trade.
Also mine is a special plumber's model with a very expensive 6mm length of copper pipe as its aerial. The regular builders are very jealous...
De luxe radio models come equipped with drip-feed tube so tea (five sugars, luv) can squirt into worker's innards without needing to brew cool or be slurped.
