Closed circuit heating system

We are loking to buy a vertical radiator off the internet one of the radiators says it must be installed on a closed circuit (indirect) hot water central heating system.

can anybody tell us in laymans terms what this actually means

It means it must be connected to a CH system where the same water recycles round and round - a sealed system if you like. 98% of UK systems are like this. They could either be pressurised type with a Combi boiler, or unpressurised type with a small CH cold water overtank in the loft-space. Both would be OK.
