african violets
when we moved house last november, we had a week staying in a caravan until we could move into this house. I agreed with the people that moved into our old house that i would collect all some african violets and the garden tubs etc. after the week was up, unfortunately they were obviously not plant people because they helpfully put my 3 african violets outside with the other tubs. I've had them sitting in the sunny kitchen since then but i think i'm going to have to say goodbye to them, which is a shame because i've had them for years and they were beautiful. Any ideas?

If they have been outside in the cold though they may have had it .Try letting them go as dry as possible and then put some feed in the water (Baby Bio) or something and just pull off any floppy leaves ...I hope they recover ..I love African Violets.

Thanks shaneystar2. I might repot them and see what happens. They were outside that awful week in November when it was raining and freezing every day so I expect it's a lost cause. I suppose not everyone is a flower and plant sort of person but I would have thought they would have realized that as I left them in the utility room, they were not intended to go outside.
