Earlier this week I planted some seeds in a propogator and left them on a window sill.Due to the heat froma radiator under the window the seeds have come through already.I have just taken them out to the greenhouse as I am worried theu will get "leggy".Am I wrong in placing them where there is heat ? Should I just leave them in the greenhouse in the propogator or what ?

Hi Hardy,
I dont know how hot your radiator gets but yes, I think you did the right thing by moving the propagator to the green house. I have found it usually gets too hot there, you can get heated propagators that plug in but this is a much more gentle heat.
I'm sure they will be better off in the G.H. Good Luck Tbird+

this will depend on which plants they are and if the greenhouse is heated or not. If there is no heat in the greenhouse and they are tender seedlings then they will get frosted.

Yes I will have to keep an eye on the weather and bring them in if there is to be a frost.

Try to keep the temperature around 10-15 degrees centigrade, if it's too hot it's not a big problem, but you'll need to keep watering and they'll grow too fast-and up rather than gradually developing proper plants.
