Sharon Fruit

I have just bought a Sharon Fruit and do not have a clue how to plant it or look after it. It is about 2 foot tall. How long before you get fruit? Can it be grown in a greenhouse? or is it better in the garden. All facts and hints greatlty appreciated.

They grown ou side in italy so I would say keep it in a green house extra warm in possible, insolate for the cold winter and do not over water it.

Sharon Fruit will tolerate -18�C when fully dormant and they dislike very hot summers, so will grow very successfully in this climate. However the weight of the fruit can be excessive with individual fruits weighing an average of 350-400g.

The statememnt above I found on a website but I do not beleive that it will tolerate -18c and does not like very hot summers as they grow in italy israil and similar climates
