Retail Refunds! MMmmmm!

I bought some items for a wedding gift from Cargo on the 29/09/03 which I now need to return! The items are still wrapped and bagged (not used at all) and I still have the till receipt. But today is the 28th day since I bought them, can I still get a refund, i suppose officially it's not 28 days until 2pm. Also if I do get a refund, how long will it take to be re-credited into my bank account (I paid by Electron)?

Is the 28 days a Cargo thing? Unless the items are faulty , you are not entitled to a refund by law. My best suggestion is to go back to Cargo ASAP and be honest and hopeful, they may feel kindly towards you. Getting the money back into your account is another matter, as they are not rerquired to refund, they can take their time about getting the money to you...
