Hi folks! Does anyone know if it is possible to stain wood. Strange question I know, I will explain more. My kitchen presses are a beach colour and i have wooden blinds that are a darker colour because i couldnt get anything to match the presses. anyway I would like to darken the colour of the wood on the presses to go more with the blinds but i dont have a clue if this is possible. Is it?? thanks a mill

yes I'm sure if you pop into Homebase or B&Q they will have a vast array of pruduct to do just this.
You can get woodstain from a few manufacturers see if you can get a piece of wood to match the presses and then you could try out a few stains until you get the right match
I've just stained some bits of furniture using stain that I got from B&Q. Just be aware when you're matching several things, that different wood takes the stain to different degrees...something I found out to my cost!
