Getting creases out of silk

I recently bought a beautiful silk dress by mail order which arrived rather creased. Rather than return it I pressed it and the creases came out. I was furious to discover that the next day the creases had returned. What can I do?

That's the problem with silk. The best thing to do is iron it then let it cool just before you put it on...

hang it in the bathroom, when you have a shower or bath, the steam is gentler at getting the creases out.
oh and never sit down!!
