Yukka taking over the garden !!
Help... I have a Yukka which started off as an indoor pot plant years ago and was planted out in the garden some 15 years ago. It is in the corner of a small walled garden and has somewhat taken over.
It has a woody base approx 15" in diameter and two green and healthy stalks approx 10 feet high.
My question is, is there any way I can chop off the stalk and replant it ? I dont want the plant to die but I need to move the plant if possible. I have been told the roots are probably half way up our avenue by now.. Be very grateful for some advice.
